Book Launch in Belgrade
The anthology, “Fragmented Geographies: A Short Critical Anthology of Jewish Women’s Writing in the Balkans and Latin America,” co-edited by Oana Hergenröther and published with the support of treffpunkt sprachen, was presented in Belgrade on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Two of the three editors, Jelena Filipović and Oana Hergenröther, spoke at the Jewish Cultural Center (Jevrejska 16, Belgrade) during a literary evening honoring Marjorie Agosín (1955–2025). The event was moderated by Ivana Vučina Simović and conducted in Serbian.
Plurilingualism Research Unit Visits Kiel
The Plurilingualism Research Unit was represented at the "Vielfaltslinguistik 8" conference at Kiel University (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel) with the presentation “The Loanword Typology of Auvergne Manuš, a Romani Variety of France.”
