International certificates

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

The exam is offered twice a year at the university.

  • IELTS is an internationally recognised language and entrance certificate. More and more universities, colleges and other educational institutions worldwide accept or even require the IELTS test (academic module) as proof of English language proficiency (more than 6,000 educational institutions worldwide; more than 2,000 institutions in the USA alone, including distinguished universities such as Princeton, Harvard, Berkeley and Columbia University).
  • IELTS is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who want to study or work where English is the language of communication. Every year more than one million candidates worldwide take the IELTS test at 300 test centres in more than 125 countries and thus gain access to an international education and achieve professional recognition.
  • IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, the University of Cambridge and IDP: IELTS Australia. High quality, objectivity, validity and reliability are the key marks of this certificate. The IELTS test is available in two different formats: Academic module and General Training module. The Academic module is a basic requirement for candidates wishing to study at a university, a college or another educational institution.
