Intensive courses February 2024

The Foreign Language Intensive Courses are offered once a year in February for students, employees of the University of Graz and external participants without prior knowledge in the respective language. The skills acquired during the intensive course (level A1/1^st phase) enable the participants to continue with a semester course (level A1/2^nd phase).

In addition to the classes, you need to allow extra time for practice, self-study and exam preparation.

€	225	Students from other universities (University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Medical University of Graz, Graz University of Technology) Co-registration at the University of Graz required. Access data for UNIGRAZonline can be obtained from the Office of Academic Affairs (Studien- und Prüfungsabteilung). (Please note: co-registration is only valid for one semester!)

A service charge of € 5 is already included in the course fee.

Target group

The intensive courses are designed for students and employees of the University of Graz, students from other university educational institutions and external participants.

Number of participants

The number of participants is limited; the minimum is 14. treffpunkt sprachen reserves the right to cancel courses. In case of cancellation, course fees that have already been paid will be refunded.

ECTS CREDITS

2 semester hours (2 hrs) = 3 ECTS credits

Course certificate for students:

80 % attendance
Active participation
Achievement of course goals, homework assignments
Written or an oral examination at the end of the course
Printable via UNIGRAZonline as soon as the results are available.

Confirmation of participation for staff of the University of Graz and external participants:

At least 70 % attendance
