ÖSD
The Austrian Language Diploma German is an exam for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) of the Republic of Austria, which is funded by the state and offered internationally. The test content and procedures correspond to international framework guidelines and level descriptions.
The ÖSD is of international importance as proof of German language skills and is recognised as qualification by universities, training institutions and employers in many countries. There is one exam date per academic year at the university.

REGISTRATION
Please register via our online platform at least four weeks before the exam date.
The ÖSD exam can only be taken at treffpunkt sprachen by registered or co-registered students and staff of the University of Graz, as we are an internal exam center. External candidates cannot take the ÖSD exam at treffpunkt sprachen (see list of exam centers on the ÖSD website).

The ÖSD Certificate for level C1 is recognised as proof of German language skills for regular admission at the University of Graz.
