Foreign Language Semester Courses

Information

Throughout the winter semester the following levels of foreign language courses are offered: Breakthrough 1, Waystage 3, Threshold 1 and Vantage 3. Follow-up courses of each of these levels are offered during the summer semester.

Course Schedule: 7 October 2024 or 3 March 2025 (if not indicated otherwise)

30 units (2 hrs) – 3 ECTS credits, 15 units (1 hr) – 1,5 ECTS credits

COURSE FEES*

2 hour course € 90 / 1 hour course € 45 Students of the University of Graz, Students of Natural Sciences and Lehramt NEU, Students of Musicology
2 hour course € 190 / 1 hour course € 95 Students from other universities: University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Medical University of Graz, Graz University of Technology, Montanuniversität Leoben (MU Leoben)
Co-registration at the University of Graz is necessary. Access data for UNIGRAZonline can be obtained from the Office of Academic Affairs (Studienabteilung). Please note: co-registration is only valid for one semester!

REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS, STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF GRAZ AND EXTERNAL PARTICIPANTS

via our online platform, Monday, 23 September 2024 (registration starts at 9 am for English, 10 am for French, 11 am for further languages, noon for Italian, 1 pm for Spanish) to Monday, 30 September 2024 (until noon). Payment is due immediately (credit card or bank transfer) during the online registration process.

LAST MINUTE REGISTRATION

Thursday, 3 October 2024 (7 am) until Friday, 4 October 2024 (11 am), for students, staff of the University of Graz and external participants. Remaining open places can be booked online. An overview of the available courses will be published on Wednesday, 2 October 2024 (in the afternoon).
