Project description: The Individual LanguageLearningCounselling project aims to establish individual counselling for language learning at treffpunkt sprachen. The use of resource and target oriented counselling enables more efficient achievement of personal learning goals and the development of new possibilities and approaches to autonomous language learning.

Teachers will be trained as language learning counsellors in special courses. They will offer face-to-face meetings for learners of foreign languages independent of courses and languages with the goal of providing support in the following areas:

• Reflecting on one's own learning behavior
• Identifying and reaching goals
• Promoting the learners' motivation
• Developing suitable learning methods, learning strategies and working methods
• Overcoming learning difficulties and insecurities
• Strengthening one's own resources and potential
• Supporting the evaluation of one's own learning progress

Part of the project is to develop a concept for such counselling. The individual meetings/counselling sessions will be evaluated according to a variety of criteria, resulting in the continual integration of optimization processes. The quality of the activities employed in the project will be examined using evaluations and interviews.

• Tue., 8 am to 12 am and 3:15 pm to 4:05 pm
• Wed., 2:30 pm to 6 pm
• Thu., 8 am to 12 pm and 02:30 pm to 18 pm
• Fri., 10 am to 3 pm
