Founding History

treffpunkt sprachen was founded in 2001 as the Language Centre of the University of Graz and was transferred to the teaching and research center treffpunkt sprachen - Centre for Language, Plurilingualism and Subject Didactics in 2009. The cross-faculty center offers language courses in up to 25 languages, conducts research in the areas of regional and global multilingualism, language documentation, subject didactics, and language teaching and learning research. The center has gained substantial professional expertise from years of teaching and research.
